Responsibilities
- Civil site development including site grading and drainage plans.
- Foundation Design: Design reinforced concrete foundations for heavy equipment such as compressors, pumps, and storage tanks.
- Steel Design: Engineer pipe racks, skid supports, catwalks, and maintenance platforms in accordance with AISC and ASCE standards.
- Interact with clients, installation contractors and fabricators to review project issues.
- Cookordinate drafting activities.
- Assist with preparation of technical documents for Request for Quotation packages.
- Prepare technical evaluations of fabricator and/or installation quotations.
- Review vendor skid drawings.
- Interface with other disciplines to minimize conflicts and errors.
Requirements
- Licensed Professional Engineer is a must.
- 5-10+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering activities.
- Concrete experience preferred.
- Knowledge of STAAD.Pro, SACS, ANSY, RISA, RAM Connection, Mat3D and foundation 3D.
- Working knowledge of current industrial specifications including API and AISC codes.
- Good communication skills.
