Skilled Trades Denver, CO Direct Hire Sep 2, 2026 Civil & Site Development Manager Department: Data Center and Power Infrastructure Location: East Texas / project dependent (onsite as field activity increases) Role Type: Full-time About Our Client Our client is a developer in the mission-critical and data center space, currently advancing a phased, power-first data center campus. The company manages civil and site-development work supporting the campus buildstock — including earthwork, drainage, roads, utilities, and environmental coordination — laying the groundwork for phased buildings, substations, generation, and future expansion. Job Description This role leads civil engineering and site-development activities for a large campus, including due diligence, demolition, earthwork, drainage, roads, utilities, environmental coordination, and early construction packages. The Civil & Site Development Manager will manage survey, geotechnical, environmental, and site-layout workstreams while developing early site packages and sequencing plans that support equipment deliveries and vertical construction. The ideal candidate has led large-site civil development on complex industrial or campus-scale projects and is comfortable coordinating consultants, agencies, utilities, and contractors while driving site readiness ahead of mobilization. Duties And Responsibilities Manage survey, geotechnical, environmental, demolition, grading, drainage, roadway, utility, and site-layout workstreamsCoordinate consultants, agencies, utilities, contractors, and neighboring stakeholdersDevelop early site packages and sequencing plans that support equipment deliveries and vertical constructionOversee site constraints, existing-condition verification, cut/fill strategies, temporary works, and logistics planningSupport permitting, stormwater, environmental, road-use, and jurisdictional approvalsReview designs, estimates, schedules, scopes, bids, RFIs, submittals, and changes for civil packagesTrack site-development risks and drive mitigation before mobilizationEnsure civil infrastructure supports phased buildings, substations, generation, and future campus expansion Required Experience/Skills 8+ years in large-site civil development, heavy civil construction, industrial campuses, utilities, or data centersStrong knowledge of earthwork, drainage, roads, underground utilities, environmental controls, and site logisticsExperience managing consultants and contractors through design and constructionAbility to work onsite at the East Texas project site as field activity increases Nice-to-Haves Brownfield or former industrial-site redevelopment experienceExperience with campuses exceeding 100 acresKnowledge of Texas stormwater, county, TxDOT, and utility coordinationCivil engineering degree and Texas PE Education Civil engineering degree preferred (Texas PE a plus).
