About the role

Bohler's office in Mechanicsburg, PA, serving the greater Harrisburg region, is seeking a Civil Project Manager with experience leading complex land development projects. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee projects throughout Central Pennsylvania, guiding them from concept through construction while balancing design quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for clients, lead multidisciplinary teams, and drive successful project delivery across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of project delivery, including design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and ensure expectations are met through clear communication and proactive leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Project Managers and technical staff.
  • Oversee financial performance, including contracts, invoicing, and change management.
  • Present at public hearings, client meetings, and community sessions as needed.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on business development and account growth.
  • Promote quality control, innovation, and continuous improvement within your team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of civil/site design and permitting experience in land development.
  • Proven success in managing project delivery and client relationships.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience overseeing budgets, contracts, and staff development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design software.
  • PE license preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with stormwater design software.
  • Experience with project management software.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design software.
