Responsibilities

  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage scope, schedules, and budgets.
  • Prepare and manage monthly client invoicing.
  • Manage and mentor project team.
  • Manage a variety of land development projects through the entire lifecycle of the project.
  • Participate in firm’s seller-doer culture by developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Maintain quality control on all project deliverables.
  • Provide and teach engineering best practices to project team.
  • Participate in networking events to represent the firm and assist in developing new business.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience managing land development projects
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office 365, including familiarity with Teams
  • Must be able to interact and effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with team and clients
  • Strong land development, grading, and drainage technical skills and understanding
  • Able to travel as needed for meetings and on-site inspections
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, team player, and self-starter
  • Proven track record of successful project execution, client management, and securing new work
  • Able to work independently/remotely while still meeting schedule and budget
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, if required

Skills/Qualifications
