Civil Project Engineer (P.E. Required)

Responsibilities

• Understand and create full sets of construction plans, including specifications and "front end” contract documents.
• Calculate quantity take-offs, develop cost estimates and final bid forms.
• Under the direction of a Project Manager, coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team to execute projects.
• Provide construction administrative services.
• Prepare Capital Improvement Plans and grant application packages for municipal clients.

Qualifications/Experience

• BS degree in Civil Engineering/Civil-related field.
• 5+ years' experience in site development.
• Site, Highway, Airport, Drainage and Utility Design experience.
• Experience in conducting board and client meetings for small- to moderate-sized projects, preferred.
• Experienced in land use and municipal approvals.
• Experienced in preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans.
• Working knowledge and use of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Experienced in preparing project submissions and related documents/forms.
• EIT/PE preferred.
