RICK is looking for a Project Engineer/Manager to join our team in San Diego, CA. You will work on meaningful, landmark projects that help clients and communities bring their dreams to life. You will collaborate with industry-leading experts and contribute to shaping the future.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team on projects in San Diego, CA
  • Help clients and communities turn their dreams into reality

Requirements

  • BSCE degree, CA Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience or equivalent work experience of 8-12 years
  • A minimum of 3 years management experience supervising technical staff
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
  • Project management experience
  • Strong client and public-agency interaction experience
  • Significant experience in Design and Support Staff management
  • High level of leadership and management ability
  • Independent thought and decision-making abilities

Qualifications

  • AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures in the State of CA and the region
  • Conceptual and preliminary engineering design studies
  • Regulatory and public improvement plan preparation
  • Constructability reviews
  • Design team direction, control, and planning
