Key Responsibilities
- Produce and manage site design packages including grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, paving and erosion control
- Prepare construction plans, details, specifications and cost estimates in Civil 3D
- Complete stormwater and hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and design
- Prepare and manage permit applications and coordinate with municipalities, county agencies and EGLE
- Coverage with project managers on scope, schedule and budget tracking
- Mentor and review the work of junior engineers and designers
- Provide construction phase support including RFIs, submittals and field observation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Around 5+ years of civil and site design experience
- Michigan PE preferred, or EIT with a clear path to licensure
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Solid grounding in Michigan permitting and agency review processes
- Land development, commercial, industrial or municipal site experience all considered
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience: Around 5+ years of civil and site design experience
- Licenses: Michigan PE preferred, or EIT with a clear path to licensure
- Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Knowledge: Solid grounding in Michigan permitting and agency review processes

Pay
$80,000 - $130,000 base depending on experience
