Civil Project Engineer - Land Development

Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer, PE to join our Land Development team. This role offers the chance to work with a talented team of professionals and make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, scheduling, and performance of multiple site engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction
• Work closely with Project Managers to understand client needs and expectations
• Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies
• Read, interpret, and prepare site engineering plans, specifications, and reports
• Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or modifications and repairs to clients, contractors, and other staff members
• Aid in business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.)
• Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of North Carolina
• 4+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience in private and/or public land development projects
• Experience in plan and specification development with design/construction contract administration
• High proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Knowledge of local site permitting processes and requirements
• Possess a valid drivers license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required
