Civil Project Engineer III
About the role
The qualified individual will perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential, commercial and public land development projects. Candidates should have experience with site civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. Projects will include a variety of land development site designs. In addition to strong technical experience, other responsibilities will include research, coordination, task management and team collaboration on design.
Responsibilities
- Designing site layouts, grading, utilities, and stormwater systems using Civil 3D and other modeling tools.
- Performing engineering calculations and solving real-world design challenges.
- Preparing technical specifications and construction documents.
- Conducting research and writing objective reports to support project completion.
- Assisting with cost estimates and construction planning.
- Supporting field inspections and data collection.
- Collaborating with clients, internal teams, and senior engineers to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in land development engineering, including public, residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
- EIT certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and/or other CAD software.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is full-time.
