Bolton & Menk is seeking a Project Engineer, PE to join our Heavy Civil Structural team in our Oakdale or Minneapolis office. This is a great opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to making communities safer, more sustainable, and beautiful.

Responsibilities

  • Manage planning, scheduling, and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction.
  • Perform field site evaluations and provide support during construction.
  • Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
  • Read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or modifications and repairs to clients, contractors, and other staff members.
  • Auxiliary in business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.).
  • Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota.
  • 4+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience working with municipal infrastructure preferred.
  • Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency.
  • Knowledge of MnDOT requirements.

Qualifications

  • Possess a valid drivers license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

$68,000 - $120,000 depending on years of experience and credentials
