Civil Project Engineer

Founded in 2010, RIC is dedicated to enhancing client success and regional economic health.

Primary Responsibilities

• Project design of civil and site-related projects
• Oversee quality control processes for projects
• Manage projects and/or project components, supervising technical staff for design and plan production
• Lead and participate in marketing and business development initiatives
• Apply fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of the civil engineering field
• Seal technical documents and plans prepared by or under your supervision

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to mentor and develop engineering design skills
• Ability to perform basic engineering designs and contract plan development
• Ability to perform construction inspections
• Organized and punctual
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated

Education Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• Professional engineering licensure in a Midwestern state preferred
