Civil Project Engineer

About the role

This individual will provide technical and design services in support of civil engineering projects, reporting directly to their project manager. Responsibilities include communicating and coordinating technical evaluations and designs, producing reports in technical writing format, and corresponding with other team members to complete work in a timely and efficient manner. The role involves coordinating project submittals, facilitating regulatory agency approvals, and obtaining construction permits.

Responsibilities

• Design and permitting of construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater treatment and conveyance, water and sewer, roadway, pump station and force main design
• Provide technical and design services in support of civil engineering projects
• Communicate and coordinate technical evaluations and designs
• Produce reports in technical writing format
• Correspond with team members to complete work in a timely and efficient manner
• Coordinate project submittals and facilitate regulatory agency approvals
• Obtain construction permits

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineering License Required
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office required
• Hydraflow Storm Sewer, Hydrograph, and WaterCad preferred
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Experience with design of land development projects preferred

Pay

$80,000 - $150,000 per year
