Civil Project Engineer

About the role

We specialize in civil engineering design and construction administration for public entities, including municipalities, school districts, universities, and water and fire districts. The team has built strong working relationships with local agencies, serving as the Town Engineer for Severance and the water infrastructure engineer for Firestone. In the last 10 years, we have completed more than 80 school district projects across the region, from small, deferred maintenance projects to new high schools. What began as a bold step by three partners has grown into a trusted, experienced team committed to delivering exceptional results through collaboration, communication, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design and permitting of construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater treatment and conveyance, water and sewer, roadway, pump station and force main design
• Provide technical and design services in support of civil engineering projects reporting directly to their project manager
• Communicate and coordinate technical evaluations and designs
• Produce reports in technical writing format
• Correspond with other team members to complete work in a timely and efficient manner
• Coordinate project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain construction permits

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineering License Required
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office required
• Hydraflow Storm Sewer, Hydrograph, and WaterCad preferred
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Experience with design of land development projects preferred

Pay

$80,000 – $160,000 per year
