About the role

We are looking for Engineering Professionals to provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting, and project management for a defined operating area. The typical experience range for this position is 5 to 8 years. The job is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

  • Manage field execution and financial stewardship of facility upgrades and technical maintenance work within a defined geographic or operating area, including terminals, pipeline, and salt dome storage facilities.
  • Oversee multiple projects in various stages of execution, including scope definition, engineering design, estimate development, material and service procurement, schedule development, and field execution using project implementation processes. Individual projects are generally up to $2M in appropriation.
  • Provide day-to-day, multi-discipline technical support and troubleshooting for a defined geographic or operating area, collaborating with the Operating Business Team to develop and implement practical solutions for managing operating assets.
  • Work with facility equipment such as pumps, piping, valves, flow meters, tanks, salt domes, flares, docks, foundations, structures, and other mechanical- and civil-related assets.
  • Participate in operating area risk management activities.
  • Spend 20% to 50% of time outside the office working with Operations personnel at field locations. Some travel and overnight stays may be required.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Prior full-time engineering experience required.
