WHAT YOU'LL DO AS OUR CIVIL LITIGATION PARALEGAL
- A thorough review of case files and prioritization of tasks related to ongoing litigation activities
- Assisting attorneys with the organization of discovery materials and drafting necessary documents such as interrogatories and requests for production
- Maintaining consistent communication with clients to provide updates and gather relevant information
- Coordinating trial support activities, including preparing exhibits, organizing trial binders, and scheduling witness testimonies
- Mentoring junior paralegals to foster a collaborative environment and enhance the overall effectiveness of the litigation team
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support case strategies and inform decision-making

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN OUR CIVIL LITIGATION PARALEGAL
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules, procedures, and filing requirements
- Skilled in drafting and responding to discovery, motions, legal documents, and correspondence
- Proficient in formatting legal documents, preparing TOCs/TOAs, and applying proper citations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
- Highly organized with proven multitasking ability
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively with a proactive, solution-focused approach
- Experienced in trial preparation and support, including exhibits, jury instructions, witness lists, and logistics
- Knowledgeable in e-discovery tools and processes
- Familiar with legal billing and timekeeping systems
- Strong ability to manage high-pressure situations and meet multiple deadlines
- Civil litigation experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
