A well-established law firm in downtown Orlando is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Legal Assistant to join its growing legal support team. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a litigation professional with at least 3 years of experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented legal environment. This role supports attorneys handling a diverse caseload that may include civil litigation, personal injury, insurance defense, and some plaintiff-side matters. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to attorneys throughout all phases of civil litigation.
  • Prepare, format, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, notices, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Maintain litigation calendars, deadlines, attorney schedules, case files, and court-related filings.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other parties.
  • Aid with case management, discovery coordination, trial preparation, and other litigation projects.
  • Keep case documentation accurate, organized, and up to date in a fast-paced legal setting.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Employment type: Direct hire.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Work arrangement: 100% onsite in downtown Orlando, FL.
  • Medical insurance: 100% paid by the firm after 90 days.
  • 401(k) offered.
  • Paid time off: 17 days.
