Civil Litigation Attorneys
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has immediate openings in its New Orleans office for civil litigation attorneys. This position is remote to start as we transition into a new office space.
About the role
We are seeking driven team players with excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills. Candidates must possess strong academic backgrounds, proven research skills, and the ability to handle assignments with minimal supervision. Trial experience is preferred but not required.
Opportunities include forward-facing client interactions and experience handling appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials.
Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation matters with minimal supervision
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Appear at hearings, depositions, and trials
- Engage in client interactions and case strategy development
Requirements
- Licensed and admitted to practice in the State of Louisiana
- At least 3 years of civil litigation experience
- Experience with construction, commercial litigation, admiralty/maritime, and/or personal injury matters is preferred
- Strong academic background
