Job Type: Full time Job Description We are seeking a sharp and tenacious Civil Litigation Attorney to join our Fayetteville, Arkansas firm. You will represent individuals and businesses in a wide range of civil disputes - from pre-suit negotiation through trial and appeal - and serve as a strategic advocate for clients navigating high-stakes conflicts. This is an opportunity to build and manage a substantive litigation practice with the backing of an established firm known across Arkansas for its rigorous standards and results. Roles & Responsibilities Represent plaintiffs and defendants in civil matters including contract disputes, business litigation, construction disputes, property and real estate conflicts, and tort claimsManage cases from intake and pre-suit demand through discovery, motion practice, trial, and appealDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreementsTake and defend depositions, and conduct thorough case investigations and legal researchDevelop case strategy and advise clients on risks, costs, and realistic outcomes at every stageNegotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations and arbitrationsAppear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings across ArkansasMaintain detailed and organized case files in compliance with firm protocolsCollaborate with paralegals, support staff, and co-counsel as needed Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in the State of Arkansas2+ years of civil litigation experienceCourtroom and deposition experience and confidence in litigationStrong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsSound judgment and the ability to weigh legal strategy against practical business realitiesAbility to manage a demanding caseload with professionalism and composureDeep commitment to client advocacy and ethical practiceExperience litigating in Northwest Arkansas state and federal courts is a plus
