Civil Litigation Attorney

About the role

Serve new and long-standing clients in most areas of civil law. Represent clients in all phases of civil trial work, including discovery and trial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, agreements, discovery, pleadings, motions and other legal matters.
• Appear in court and take and defend depositions.
• Aid in trial preparations.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the California State Bar.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Excellent communication skills, able to work independently, and have a commitment to providing the highest standard of legal representation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with great organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with legal software tools for research and document management.
