Civil Litigation Attorney

What You'll Do

• Collaboration: Work side by side with highly experienced attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants as a team.
• Trial Prep: Collaborate with experienced litigation attorneys to prepare evidence, documents, and presentations as you prepare for trial.
• Attorney Responsibilities: Handle depositions, mediations, conferences between claimants & judges, and court appearances.
• Create: Draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.

What We're Looking For

• Three to five plus years of experience in the legal field.
• Working knowledge of state and federal laws and procedures.
• Strong analytical, communication, and people skills.
• Able to handle large caseloads and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Work effectively with corporate professionals.
• Commitment to excellent performance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education And Qualifications

• A law degree from an ABA accredited law school.
• Actively licensed in Missouri.
• Ability to become licensed in Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, or Nebraska.
