Civil Field Engineer
About the Role
Moss' Solar Civil Field Engineers assist the Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents with the day-to-day operations for solar construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Understand the civil scope of work for the assigned project and ensure all grading and closeout tasks are in alignment with approved plans
- Establish daily goals with assigned crews
- Maintain documentation and prepare project inspection reports
- Work closely with Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents to ensure all environmental action items are executed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical field, or related discipline
- 6 months - 2 years’ experience in the solar construction industry, civil, grading, land surveying, or related experience
- Must have a great attitude in working with the Moss team

This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position requiring high travel across Louisiana and Texas. Reports to the Civil Superintendent.
