Job Responsibilities
This position is based at the Thornley Campus. The selected candidate must also be willing to provide online instruction and services as needed. Course Description- CET 245 focuses on the basic principles of cost estimating for commercial and residential construction projects, including quantity takeoffs, pricing, bid preparation, and industry-standard estimating practices.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned CET 245 course(s)
- Design and develop instructional materials and course content as needed
- Assess and evaluate student performance
- Maintain accurate academic records
- Adapt to evolving instructional technologies and delivery methods
Minimum and Additional Requirements
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a strongly related field and related industry/engineering/surveying experience.
- Preferred candidates will have a civil engineering or architecture degree.
- Candidates submit unofficial transcripts with the application.
- Post-secondary teaching experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, and the ability to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology is essential.
