Civil Engineer
Education, Experience, Licensing
- Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a four-year degree from an accredited institution with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Three years of experience in progressively responsible position with at least one year of supervisory experience is required.
- A valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record is required.
Supplemental Information
- The successful candidate must have strong verbal and written communication, strong organizational skills, the ability to approve documents and correspondence, and supervise staff in their preparation of reports/projects.
- The successful candidate must also be proficient with computer software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, etc.), and have the ability to communicate; verbally and in written form with all levels of Lee County employees and constituents.
- Prefer candidate have knowledge of State Statutes, County Administrative Codes and County policies and procedures.
Hours and days
Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Emergency Response/Recovery Activities
All County employees are required to work before, during, or after an emergency as needed. This may include temporarily being assigned to work and performing duties outside of the normal scope of their position, location and work schedule to fit the needs of the County and its citizens.
