Civil Engineering Technician

Job Duties

• Work collaboratively on research, planning, and design of conventional civil engineering and land development projects
• Produce drawings using computer aided drafting systems Auto Cad and Civil 3D
• Aid with code studies, field investigations, and site inspections
• Aid with developing technical studies, analytical models, and reports for water, sewer, and stormwater systems
• Collaborate with other divisions and departments in a professional manner
• Engage in training and mentoring activities that build technical foundation

Requirements

• Associate's degree in civil engineering technology/construction technology
• General knowledge of building and site construction
• Some experience in drafting and layout of engineering plans is preferred (internships included)

Pay

Salary Range: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
