Civil Engineering Sr. Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Woods Cross, Utah, office. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in land development design, covering commercial and single-family projects. This individual will hold a Utah Professional Engineer (PE) license and bring proven expertise in managing projects, leading teams, and cultivating client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee land development projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, adherence to timelines, and budget control.
• Provide leadership to a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering growth and ensuring high-performance standards.
• Manage and expand a client portfolio, ensuring exceptional client service delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and public officials to ensure project success.
• Aid in managing budgets, ensuring the financial health of projects and office operations.
• Assist with market forecasting and strategic planning to align with regional and company goals.
• Aid in hiring and onboarding efforts, ensuring the acquisition of top engineering talent.

Skills/Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in land development design.
• Active Utah PE license.
• Proven experience in team leadership and staff management.
• Track record of successfully managing land development projects from start to finish.
• Strong business development skills with the ability to win work and grow client relationships.
• Proficiency in budgeting, market forecasting, and hiring.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a leadership team.
