About the role
Manage project teams to complete engineering tasks such as airspace and earthwork volume calculations, prepare and review technical reports, design stormwater management systems, leachate collection systems, and landfill gas collection systems, perform geotechnical analyses, and prepare landfill grading plans and project details and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop proposals and project budgets and schedules
- Manage the engineering staff
- Perform quality control
- Interact with clients, contractors, and local/state government officials
- Mentor and assist in the professional development of the staff
- Customize individual career paths through professional development and mentoring activities
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; Masters degree preferred
- Professional Engineer licensure (P.E.) required or ability to obtain
- Expert in technical software and Civil Engineering technology, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software, and geotechnical modeling software
- Established clients/contacts in the Solid Waste client sectors
- Experience in scope of service and budget (proposal) development, and demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
- Participation in both client- and professional development-based organizations
- Ability to communicate with staff, clients, contractors, and government regulatory officials
- Coordinate the regulatory agency review process

Pay
The pay range for this position is between $130,000 and $160,000. The hiring range posted is a good faith estimate of what Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. may reasonably offer for the role as outlined. Factors such as additional education and/or experience may influence the actual offering.
Schedule
Candidates have the option to sit in either our Raynham, MA or Peabody, MA office locations.
