Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality municipal engineering projects
- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets
- Manage project scope, schedules, staffing, and resources
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication
- Ensure all project-specific delivery requirements, standards, and deadlines are met
- Lead project pursuits, including securing contract work, negotiating contracts, and providing progress updates as requested
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to staff
- Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Collaborate with colleagues and leverage internal resources to continuously enhance professional skills and project outcomes
- Adhere to internal Quality Control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- 7+ years of relevant experience with multiple years leading projects
- A Professional Engineer (PE) License (preferred)
- A Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) License (preferred)
- Experience with Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), traffic studies, traffic signal design, lighting design, and traffic modeling
- Certified Road Safety Professional 1 or 2 or the ability to obtain certification
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences
