Natural Gas Infrastructure Experience
- Natural gas pipeline design
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Evaluate and recommend suitable materials, equipment, and technologies
- Participate in feasibility studies and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines
- Optimize processes for energy efficiency and environmental impact
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations and prepare reports
- Stay updated with advancements in chemical engineering and energy-related technologies
- Work closely with Energy group leaders
- Review and check the work of team members
- Develop and maintain professional relationships within the industry
Responsibilities
- On-site visits as necessary
- Attend meetings and develop/client relationships
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Deliver projects on time and within budget
- Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges
- Communicate technical information effectively
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
- Develop sustainable and environmentally friendly energy solutions
- Continuous learning and adaptability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree (Civil, Chemical, Industrial preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the natural gas industry
- Civil 3D experience preferred
- Technical leadership and mentoring experience
- High-level of interpersonal relationship, communications, facilitation, team building, collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with willingness and ability to strengthen and develop relationships with clients
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- In-depth knowledge of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and reaction kinetics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of project management principles
- Continuous learning and adaptability
Qualifications
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Able to travel to various project sites
- Able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas
