Natural Gas Infrastructure Experience

  • Natural gas pipeline design
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Evaluate and recommend suitable materials, equipment, and technologies
  • Participate in feasibility studies and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines
  • Optimize processes for energy efficiency and environmental impact
  • Conduct periodic performance evaluations and prepare reports
  • Stay updated with advancements in chemical engineering and energy-related technologies
  • Work closely with Energy group leaders
  • Review and check the work of team members
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships within the industry

Responsibilities

  • On-site visits as necessary
  • Attend meetings and develop/client relationships
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges
  • Communicate technical information effectively
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Develop sustainable and environmentally friendly energy solutions
  • Continuous learning and adaptability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree (Civil, Chemical, Industrial preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the natural gas industry
  • Civil 3D experience preferred
  • Technical leadership and mentoring experience
  • High-level of interpersonal relationship, communications, facilitation, team building, collaboration skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with willingness and ability to strengthen and develop relationships with clients
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • In-depth knowledge of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and reaction kinetics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of project management principles
  • Continuous learning and adaptability

Qualifications

  • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Able to travel to various project sites
  • Able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas
