Project Manager, Civil Engineering
Responsibilities
- Deliver innovative commercial and residential land development projects from inception to completion.
- Oversight of internal and external teams, management of project budgets and work plans.
- Guidance in the development of contract documents.
- Primary client contact, ensuring exceptional client service and project financial success.
- Mentoring and training of team members.
- Planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating each phase of the project.
- Providing construction services such as site visits, review of shop drawings, etc.
- Assembling consultant teams, identifying scope of work, collecting fees, selecting consultants, and facilitating contracts.
- Collaborating with Ware Malcomb consultants to coordinate various trades for complete, coordinated set of contract documents and specifications.
- Responsible for local, county, state, and federal project code searches and analyses.
- Ensuring the financial success of all responsible projects.
- Communicating with clients, brokers, contractors, consultants, and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 7+ years of experience working on Land Development projects.
- Civil 3D skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
