Civil Engineering Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex community development projects from planning through completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations, schedules, budgets, and corporate performance goals.
- Oversee high value projects, maintaining accountability for successful delivery across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Cookordination and delegate project tasks across technical staff and project teams while ensuring execution aligns with scope, schedule, and budget targets.
- Mentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and junior staff, fostering team growth and strengthening project delivery capabilities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, collaboration with construction management teams, and consistent delivery of high-quality service.
- Support business development efforts, including proposal development, opportunity identification, and cross-selling of services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with demonstrated success managing municipal capital improvement projects.
- Experience managing a range of municipal projects, including roads, drainage, water, sewer, parks, and public facilities.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to municipal engineering and public works construction.
- Solid understanding of stormwater management, permitting processes, and infrastructure asset management practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering/design software.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination skills in a fast-paced project environment.
Pay
T&M Associates estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $145,000-$170,000. The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
