Civil Engineering Project Manager

About the role

You will work with project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and energy clients. You'll be involved in designing site layouts, grading plans, storm water management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage land development plans for various types of projects including commercial, institutional, and energy clients.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with local codes and ordinances.
• Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials throughout the project lifecycle.
• Use computer modeling software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and HydraFlow to assist in the design and planning process.
• Contribute to the conceptual and design phases, regulatory review process, bidding, and construction phases of projects.
• Participate in the grand opening of completed projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree is a plus)
• 5+ years' progressive engineering experience
• Professional Engineering Registration (P.E.)
• Demonstrated experience in computer modeling software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and HydraFlow
• Able to speak and write professionally
• Experience and knowledge of commercial real estate site design is a plus

Qualifications

• Ability to research and understand local codes and ordinances
• Knowledge of utility systems and storm water management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving abilities

Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Experience with HEC-RAS and HydraFlow
