About the role
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking an experienced professional to lead the Civil Engineering Practice in our Irvine, CA office. This individual will identify growth opportunities, lead business development, and implement strategies for sustainable client service.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to grow the Civil Engineering Practice
- Develop and execute business development and marketing strategies
- Provide technical oversight and project management services
- Recruit, mentor, and lead the development of a diverse professional staff
Requirements
- 15+ years’ experience in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- California Professional Civil Engineer License
- Strong local connections and/or existing professional network
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience preparing engineering plans for permitting and construction
- Experience working with various regulatory agencies to obtain project approvals
- Skills in technical oversight and project management
- Ability to recruit, mentor, and lead a professional staff
Benefits
Pay range: $175,000 - $260,000 based on experience and location
