About the role
Barge Design Solutions is seeking a college student intern for the summer to gain valuable work experience in civil engineering.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members on new ideas and innovations
- Support Engineers in completing project deliverables
- Prepare AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation construction documents
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
- At least 18 years of age
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a degree program
- Must have a valid driver's license
Skills
- AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation proficiency
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Benefits
This is a paid internship working full-time hours (40) per week. It is an in-person work opportunity. Interns are not eligible for company benefits. Housing assistance is not provided.
Pay
The pay rate for this internship is $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
The internship runs from June through August, Monday through Friday, full-time hours (40).
