Civil Engineer- Water/Wastewater
Job Duties
Contributing to all phases of water/wastewater projects including the development of design concepts
Performing and reviewing detailed calculations, working within teams in a collaborative manner and mentoring junior staff
Overseeing design staff in, and contribution to, the production of effective and high-quality drawings and specifications
Supporting projects throughout construction as they progress to final closeout
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil and/or Environmental Engineering
- 4-10 years' experience
- PE or the ability to obtain within 24 months
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Revit experience is a plus
- Familiarity with hydraulic/process modeling software
- Experience with water supply, treatment, storage and distribution systems; experience with wastewater collection, treatment and disposal systems; experience with various forms of treatment processes for both water supplies as well as wastewater treatment systems
- Experience with public works projects from planning and funding, design and entitlement, public bidding and construction administration, inspection and commissioning
- Ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player, self-motivated with a strong desire to grow a career in the water/wastewater engineering field
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with Team members across the organization
Salary Range
Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
