Civil Engineer - Transportation Project Manager/Supervisor

About the role

Ayres is seeking a project manager/supervisor to contribute to the growth of our Transportation division in the Southwest region of Wisconsin. Key responsibilities include developing client relationships, managing projects, supporting staff development, and actively engaging in professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and negotiate contract documents.
• Manage clients and projects.
• Oversee project work to meet deadlines, profitability, and quality standards.
• Maintain respectful relationships with colleagues and company leaders.
• Support and mentor less experienced staff.
• Participate in group meetings and contribute to the annual business plan and budget.
• Engage in professional development and attend industry conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in transportation.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Wisconsin.
• Minimum 8 years of transportation-related design and project management experience.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record.
