Civil Engineer – Structural Focus

About the role

Himalayan Ridge Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is an engineering firm located in Kathmandu, Nepal, dedicated to outsourcing structural calculations and engineering drawings. Since August 2019, we have successfully completed over 6,000 projects, including walk-in coolers and freezers, residential log homes, DIY SIP panel residential homes, steeples, domes, cupolas, towers, spires, and crosses. We analyze structures using materials such as steel, aluminum, concrete, wood, engineered wood, and factory-made materials like polyurethane foam panels.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of various building components under supervision or independently
• Prepare detailed calculations and provide input for construction drawings
• Work with drafters to ensure proper documentation of designs
• Review project requirements and support accurate and timely project deliverables
• Ensure designs meet code requirements and client expectations
• Communicate effectively with US-based engineers and contribute to a collaborative project environment
• Uphold HRE’s values and professional standards in all work
