About the role
Design and develop roadway and highway projects, adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed design plans for roadways and highways
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure project compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct site visits and gather data to inform design decisions
- Prepare and present project reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in roadway and highway design
- Knowledge of relevant software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and project management tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with sustainable and green infrastructure practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
