About the Role
We are seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager (PM) to join our team, offering a salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 per year. Our firm specializes in engineering design and consultation services, including land development engineering, landscape architecture, ecological services, and construction inspection. We work with a diverse range of clients, including public and private entities, land developers, homebuilders, and master-planned communities.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential development projects from site planning through construction certifications, with potential consideration for commercial, industrial, and municipal projects.
- Market and sell the firm's services to potential clients through direct contact, networking, and relationship building.
- Maintain relationships with key existing clients through consistent communication, marketing, and project progress updates.
- Develop project scopes, timelines, fee schedules, and prepare proposals for new projects.
- Coordinate and supervise the preparation of due diligence reports, evaluating development potential for residential and commercial projects.
- Work with in-house planning staff to develop concept plans for proposed projects.
- Manage multiple in-house teams to plan, prepare, and process construction plans for approval at local, state, and federal agencies.
- Coordinate with in-house construction inspection staff to ensure timely completion and certification of construction.
- Manage project finances, including invoice processing, profitability tracking, and accounts receivable collection.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, EIT required or Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred.
- Minimum of 1-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Civil Engineering field.
- Master Planned Community development experience highly preferred.
