Civil Engineer, PE

What You'll Do

• Design, plan, and supervise construction of infrastructure projects including buildings, roads, water, and sewage systems
• Consult with project stakeholders and management on engineering requirements for design and construction
• Use design software and drawing tools to accurately render and communicate designs
• Absess strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, and steel through inspections and material testing
• Plan projects using drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, survey reports, and topographical data
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor needed to determine project costs
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and surveyors to ensure proper project progress
• Monitor project progress to ensure design specifications, safety, and sanitation standards are met

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferred
• PE license required
• Proficient in CAD and related design, data recording, and analysis software
• Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and construction methods
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel to various project sites as needed
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — no visa sponsorship available
