Civil Engineer - Multidisciplinary

About the role

The successful candidate will join Waggoner Engineering, Inc.'s Bossier City, LA office to work on a variety of Municipal projects throughout Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for municipal projects.
• Prepares construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for contracting and bidding of construction projects.
• Performs analysis and design of stormwater management facilities for roadway drainage.
• Follows safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects.
• Maintains and documents written and verbal communications with clients throughout the development and completion of a project.
• Prepares engineering studies and reports.
• Prepares project design using sound engineering principles, engineering software and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Passing of the Fundamentals test is preferred.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and practical experience in municipal project management.

Skills

• Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
