Civil Engineer - Land Development

Responsibilities

  • Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects
  • Projects will include a variety of land development site designs
  • Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules
  • Aid in research, coordination, project management tasks, and staff management
  • Prepare bid packages and technical specifications
  • Build plan sets and other construction documents
  • Manage utilities, site layout, drainage, and due diligence
  • Coordinate with clients, attend client meetings, and oversee quality standards

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • Experience with site civil design, permitting, and software applications such as hydrology modeling program, storm drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
  • Knowledgeable in task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks
  • Familiarity with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and maintaining quality standards
  • Ability to build plan sets and other construction documents
  • Experience with utilities, site layout, drainage, and due diligence
