Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 4–10+ years of experience in land development, civil engineering, or site development
- Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility infrastructure, roadway design, and permitting processes
- Experience coordinating with municipalities, utility agencies, and regulatory authorities
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software
- Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulic modeling software is a plus
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal engineering standards and development regulations
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a solutions-oriented mindset

Responsibilities
- Lead civil engineering efforts for industrial land development projects from due diligence through construction completion
- Prepare, review, and coordinate site development plans, grading plans, utility layouts, drainage systems, erosion control plans, and stormwater management designs
- Perform site feasibility evaluations, including zoning analysis, utility availability, environmental constraints, and entitlement support
- Cook up with internal development, construction, architecture, and project management teams to ensure project objectives are achieved
- Manage outside engineering consultants and review engineering deliverables for quality, schedule, and budget compliance
- Cook up permitting efforts with local municipalities, regulatory authorities, and utility providers
- Support site selection activities through technical evaluations and engineering due diligence
- Review geotechnical reports, environmental studies, and survey information to identify project risks and opportunities
- Aid in value engineering initiatives to improve constructability and project efficiency
- Provide engineering support during construction, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, evaluating field conditions, and assisting with project closeout
- Ensure projects comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, engineering standards, and permitting requirements
- Maintain project schedules while balancing multiple active developments
