Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed civil engineering design for land development projects, including site layout, grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and utility design
  • Support site feasibility studies, due diligence, and zoning/code compliance reviews for a variety of development projects
  • Prepare and review design plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and engineering reports
  • Affirm permits and approvals, coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies and responding to agency comments
  • Collaborate with project managers, planners, and survey teams to ensure projects move efficiently from concept through construction
  • Track project progress, manage deliverables, and ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Participate in client, contractor, and municipal meetings, documenting key decisions and follow-up actions
  • Contribute to proposal development, scope definition, and client presentations
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, budgets, and progress tracking within internal systems
  • Actively pursue professional development opportunities, with a focus on advancing within land development engineering

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
  • EIT required, PE preferred or on track
  • 5+ years of experience, with exposure to site design and land development projects
  • Experience with PADEP permitting processes and coordination is preferred
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and MS Office; HydroCAD or similar stormwater modeling software preferred; HEC-RAS experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and local permitting processes
  • Excellent technical communication skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to safety and a strong understanding of safe work practices

Schedule

Pay

  • $60,000 - $90,000 annually
