Civil Engineer Internship T1

About the role

GRAEF is seeking a student intern for its Madison, WI office, beginning in the summer of 2027. The intern will learn civil‑engineering duties related to site development, municipal engineering, and additional project work while gaining exposure to a collaborative, relationship‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with civil‑engineering tasks for site development projects.
• Support municipal engineering work and related activities.
• Participate in both independent assignments and team‑based project efforts.

Requirements

• Current sophomore standing while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Construction, or Environmental Engineering.
• Prior internship experience is a plus.
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and eagerness to learn.
• Enjoy a balance of independent tasks and collaborative team work.
