Responsibilities
- Build plan sets and other construction documents using AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Aid in the creation of design drawings, specifications, reports, and other project deliverables while collaborating with the engineering team and other disciplines within the project team
- Make technical assumptions, think independently to complete assigned work, and draw engineering conclusions
- Provide design inputs and reviews of other engineers' projects
- Participate as a team member, contributing ideas and possible solutions, and lead on issues where appropriate
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Licensure: Registered or the ability to register as an EIT within 6 months of hiring
- Minimum of 2 years of civil engineering experience as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT), with exposure to a variety of civil engineering projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Effective ability to work with limited supervision
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
