Civil Engineer - Full-Time

About the Role

Seeking an experienced engineer to develop and review complex designs related to site layout, grading, drainage, hydraulics, water and collection systems, storage tanks, foundation structures, stormwater infrastructure, and occasional single-story buildings. The role involves ensuring designs meet federal, state, and local regulations, adhering to firm policies, and conducting site reviews to align with project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing draft designs and updating requirements as needed.
• Contributing to technical knowledge through white papers and publications.
• Assisting in proposal development and client meetings to identify design needs.
• Representing the firm at conferences and industry events.
• Providing technical guidance, mentoring, and supervising junior staff.

Requirements

• Expertise in CADD software, engineering design principles, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related field, with a PE license and 7+ years of experience (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations; experience with heavy civil projects is preferred.

Pay

Compensation ranges from USD $91,478 to $160,118, based on experience and qualifications.
