CIVIL ENGINEER, EI - STRUCTURES

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance in plan production tasks, including base mapping, modeling, and detailing for projects involving structural engineering.
• Utilizes AutoCAD Civil 3D and Open Roads to create drawings.
• Assists with preliminary and completed layouts, design concepts, and detailed design drawings from technical notes, sketches, and other drawings.
• Performs basic calculations on assigned portions/phases of multiple projects to deliver solutions.
• Conducts research and prepares estimates for project costs by calculating labor, materials, and related costs.

• Experience with structural calculations and plan development.
• Ability to apply technical training and problem-solving skills to current assignments.
• Self-starter with dependability and consistent work effort.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
• Excellent planning and organization skills with an eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Education or work experience using AutoCAD Civil3D and/or Open Roads.
• Demonstrated experience working full-time in a professional structural civil engineering role.
