Civil Engineer
Wilson & Company’s Springfield office is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer with transportation-infrastructure experience, focusing on streets, highways, and interstates.
Responsibilities
- Perform roadway design and modeling using MicroStation/OpenRoads.
- Lead and manage tasks on projects of various sizes.
- Collaborate with experienced designers, project managers, other disciplines, and subconsultants to deliver projects.
- Work primarily on projects in Missouri and Kansas, with opportunities to support regional initiatives.
- Communicate efficiently and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Kansas Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- 4–7 years’ experience designing streets and highways in accordance with local, state, and/or federal regulations.
- Proficiency in CADD using MicroStation.
- Ability to work effectively with other engineers and technicians.
Qualifications
A background in traffic-engineering design is beneficial.
Pay
Annual salary range: $79,000 – $135,000.
