Civil Engineer
About the role
We are currently searching for an experienced Civil Engineer to support our Midwest region located in Dayton, OH.
Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and maintain infrastructure projects (bridges, roads, tunnels, water/sewage systems)
- Develop roadway design components: typical sections, geometric layouts, drainage analysis, traffic plans
- Produce construction documents: drafting, computations, specifications, cost estimates
- Perform detailed engineering calculations and use advanced design software to solve complex challenges
- Manage project schedules and maintain client communication
- Mentor junior engineers and foster team growth
Requirements
- At minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 0 – 6 years in civil engineering
- Registered PE in Ohio (required)
- Proficiency with MicroStation, Geopak, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD
- Knowledge of local municipalities, funding sources, public infrastructure, and traffic systems
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
Skills
