Civil Engineer

About the role

This is a Civil Engineer GS-0810-07/09/11/12 developmental position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwester Division (NWD), Kansas City District, Operations Division, Maintenance Engineering Section.

Responsibilities

• Conducts inspections and evaluations of construction projects to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develops and implements maintenance plans for facilities and infrastructure.
• Assists in the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborates with other engineers and departments to resolve engineering issues and improve project outcomes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience in civil engineering, preferably in maintenance and operations.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to civil engineering.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Pay
